Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving came earlier than any other church at the shepherd's house. October 9th is Thanksgiving Day in Canada, and we had a Thanksgiving service today, Friday the 6th. Patricia & Leslie Robinson baked a total of five at home, including two turkeys, one by butler Park Jung-hyun, one by deaconess Kim Sook-young, and one by Aunt Munmi. Deacon Park Jeong-hyun and his mother Moon Mi-jeong conveyed their hearts with grace even though they could not cook Turkish cuisine. It's a very grateful thing. Despite his busy schedule, Pastor Kim Doo-je went to Mrs. Munmi Jeong's house at around 10 p.m. and finished all the seasonings until he entered the oven, and one at Pastor Kim Doo-je's house and the other at Mrs. Munmi Jeong's house cooked Turkish cuisine deliciously. As for the fruit, butler Yoon Yeon-hwa also prepared soy sauce and rice. Pastor Kim Sung-joon also brought golden honey to serve his friends despite the pain in the soles of his feet. Accordingly, Sister Kim sponsored the shepherd's house with missionary contributions. At 4:30 I arrived at the shepherd's house building in a hurry, opened the door, and Sungwon friends, Inseo, Zion, Devon, Danielle, and Zet came to help set the table and chairs and all the necessary arrangements for worship. They are the main characters of our strong physical labor that we are always grateful for them and indispensable. Deaconess Patricia, Les, and Jeong Jin-wook arrived early, and deaconess Kim Sook-young joined, so they were busy cutting potatoes, onions, and carrots, and preparing broken potatoes, and the Kim Sun-hee sisters came out early just in case there was not enough service. The family of butler Choi Hoe-jeong came and accelerated the preparation of cooking together. My younger brother, the butler Choi Ho-sik, also joined at 5 o'clock, but he returned home satisfied because there were so many servicemen. Soon after, Deacon Park Jung-hyun and my nephew Choi Jun-hwan joined and moved their hands busily until they finished all preparations. The most important thing is the volunteers and Aunt Park Jin Kyung of Jubilee Church who serve with busy hand movements to prepare the turkey carving. Later, Mrs. Munmi Jeong's family joined, and the preparation for Thanksgiving service at the shepherd's house gradually ended, welcoming her friends at 6 o'clock. Several families joined in the service at Nonuri Church.

What's more grateful is that I couldn't come out early to the Friday prayer meeting of the church served by Aunt Munmi, so I desperately needed an accompanist, but Deacon Kwak of Onnuri Church decided to dedicate himself as an accompanist. Wow.. I just pray with my heart but I see the miracle of God who makes it happen.

Governor Yoon hinted that deacon Kwak Yi Hyun-hee, who studied theology, would know it as a ministry and would not leave. It's Hallelujah! Yes, everything in the shepherd's house is God's ministry. That is why it is indispensable. When each person does his or her best in his or her place, he or she does the Lord's work together on this earth. Therefore, the butlers, deaconesses, and YOUTH groups are very important to me.

Today Krim, a Lebinon-Canadian, came to play guitar and sing. In addition, he shared what he received, saying that there was a powerful presence of the Holy Spirit in the sermon of Pastor Kim Doo-je. Pastor Kim Doo-je seems more comfortable preaching in English than preaching in Korean. There is a reason why you called me the minister of the Lord. The pastor, who has been trained in Vancouver, Canada, going back and forth between blue color and white color, which are all low and high seats, is probably one of the best in Vancouver. Nevertheless, my husband, Pastor Kim Doo-je, has consistently delivered his words in the place of the calling of the Lord's servant. It's a very grateful thing.
